|Do you guys know the taylormade r7 irons? The TaylorMade r7 TP irons incorporate the characteristics of a blade with a thin top line and sole.
Taylormadeís R7 irons have been around for a while now and have been superseded in popularity by the TaylorMade Burner Irons, R9 irons and most recently the new R11 Irons. The club head has a smaller design than the other irons in the TaylorMade line. This taylormade r7 irons will be appealing to lower-handicap players who prefer a traditional look.
The yellow and black color scheme is classy looking and the cavity is nicely designed and as discreet as it can be for a club of this type. The r7 taylormade irons isnít bad looking at all. Off-center hits will travel nearly the same distance as a pure hit.
I grabbed a set and headed off to the range to see how they perform. Itís super easy to hit high and straight and the lofts are pretty strong, so distance is also good. The taylormade r7 cgb max irons are extremely playable irons. The irons produce a slightly lower trajectory, making it easier to control ball flight. The club is very easy to hit considering it is geared toward a lower handicap player. Many low-handicap players prefer a forged iron.
The topline of the taylormade cgb max irons is quite chunky with some offset but again, it doesnít seem to be too exaggerated or extreme in anyway. All in all it looks exactly like what it is, a game improvement iron built to get the ball up in the air.
TaylorMade did a great job creating a club that is used by professionals but still maintains playability for low-handicap to mid-range handicap golfers. That is not the case with this set. The r7 cgb max irons offer all players exceptional feel and control.
All in all, if you are looking for a player's club with the benefits of a game improvement iron, this set is for you.
