|The San Francisco Giants are one of the oldest franchises in Major League Baseball. The team has been around since the 1880?s. This means that they have been in existence for nearly 130 years. In the entire time that the team has existed they have played in the National League. The team has been playing in the West Division of the National League since 1969.
The team began playing in New York City. They were known as the New York Giants at that time. In their time in New York the franchise found tremendous success. They managed to win the pennant 17 times in their time in New York. They also won 5 World Championships before moving to San Francisco. The team?s last championship came in 1954. Since moving to San Francisco the team has not managed to ever win a championship. This leaves the Giants as the team with the 3rd longest drought in Major League Baseball since winning a championship. Only the Cubs and the Indians have gone longer since winning a championship.
The team has had success over the years despite never winning championships. The team has won the NL West 6 times since 1969 and has made it to the World Series 3 times since going to San Francisco. The team most recently made a run to the World Series in 2002 Seth DeValve Jersey , led by one of the most well-known athletes of all time, Barry Bonds.
Bonds spent the majority of his career in San Francisco and produced a career that rivals the career of any player to ever play the sport. He was always a great hitter, base stealer and homerun threat. Over the years his hitting and homeruns increased dramatically, making him a more valuable player to the Giants than any player in the history of the game. Bonds had several seasons towards the tail end of his career that even blew the numbers of Babe Ruth out of the water. He was such a threat at the plate that teams would walk him sometimes several times in a game in order to put the game in someone else?s hands.
In 2002 Bonds batted .370 with 46 homeruns and 110 RBIs. Those homeruns came in just 400 at-bats. Bonds would only get 400 at bats that season because he was walked 198 times on the season. This performance was the building point for the Giants as they made their run to the World Series. The Giants pushed their way through the playoffs before running into the Anaheim Angels. The team jumped out to a 3-2 lead in the series after a 16-4 victory over the Angels. Things looked as though the Giants would win their first World Series in nearly 50 years at that point. The Giants were up 5-0 in the next game, ready to seal the series. The Angels went on to rally to win the game 6-5 in the late innings. The next game the Angels won 4-1 JC Tretter Jersey , taking the World Series title away from the Giants.
The Giants have continued to be a contender year in and year out, but they are still waiting on that World Series in San Francisco.

After the release of the deposits in 2007, six nations returned to the dialogue table and reached an agreement to disable a reactor in the DPRK's Yongbyon nuclear complex.
